16.08.11 - Lloyds TSB Private Banking confirms sponsorship of the Swiss T20 Cricket Cup

The third edition of the Swiss T20 Cricket Cup sees Lloyds TSB Private Banking becoming the main sponsor to the event. The tournament, which is based at the Berne Cricket Club, hosts 8 teams and 9 matches over 7 weekends. The "20-20" format of the sport is relatively new on the cricket scene, being invented in 2003. The match comprises of 20 overs for each team, with the winning team the one who scores the most runs. Each team comprises of 11 players and the match usually lasts for around 2.5 hours.

Large crowds are expected to gather for the forthcoming tournament. All matches are hosted on the weekends at Berne Cricket Club, starting with the opening ceremony on Sunday 21st of August and finishing on Sunday 2nd October.
